Job Title:   Clinician - OCS Liaison

Job description:

A unique position working as part of a DBH grant project, on site at OCS. If you are looking for a job that provides the opportunity to combine clinical assessment within the child protection system this position may be for you. F/T position working w/OCS referred children. Job duties include conducting diagnostic interviews and providing written mental health assessments to include: family/developmental history, drug/alcohol history, current life stressors, mental status exam, clinical impressions, strengths, diagnosis, and treatment and case planning recommendations. Written assessments & treatment recommendations are provided to OCS social workers to support their case planning regarding mental health needs. Actively establish relationships w/community providers to facilitate smooth transitions into treatment for clientele. Program evaluation an integral part of position.

Requirements/Skills

Requires MA/MS in SW, psych or related field, AK licensure preferred, plus at least 2 years experience providing services to children & families. Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations for children ages 3-18 required. Personal vehicle, insurance & clean driving record mandatory. Excellent salary & benefit pkg.
