Job Title:   Quality Improvement Clinical Specialist or Quality Improvement Specialist

Job description:

F/T position providing clinical and technical support in agency wide performance improvement activities. Duties include: developing & implementing peer review and performance improvement forms; training managers and staff in the use of peer review forms & other QI processes; facilitating & advising quality improvement teams from all departments in the selection & implementation of performance indicators; collecting & analyzing performance and risk management data, generating monthly and quarterly reports including recommendations for improvement strategies; routine collaboration with training coordinator and agency leadership in developing staff education, policy & procedure and program evaluation and outcome measures.

Requirements/Skills

MA/MS degree in psychology, social work or related field with Alaska State licensure plus 2 years work experience required. Accreditation (COA, CARF, JCAHO) experience is an asset. Strong computer skills, data analysis/reporting and writing skills are a must. Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years data analysis and accreditation experience in healthcare may be considered for this position. Personal transportation, proof of insurance & clean driving record mandatory. Excellent salary and benefits. Open until filled.
